Our sheep processing combines attention to detail and skilled butchery to deliver quality cuts, including convenient packaging options.

Our Process

  • Breakdown: After slaughter, the carcass is carefully broken down, with cuts trimmed and processed into chops, roasts, mince, sausages, or as per your preferences.
  • Sausages: Standard sausages are machine linked using collagen casings. Hand linked Natural hog casings are available upon request.

What to Expect

  • On-Farm Sheep Slaughter and Process: $90 per sheep (includes vacuum-packed roast).
  • Full Offal Disposal: $15 per sheep.
  • Sheep Process Only: $50 per sheep. Fully vacuum-packed service: Additional $10 per sheep.
  • Extra Large Animal Charge: Additional $1.50 per/kg for carcass weight over 28kg.
  • Sausages: From $7.00 per/kg for Collagen Casings.
    Hand Linked Hog Casings + $1.00 per/kg.
  • Patties: From $6.50 per/kg.
  • Chops Vacuum-Packed with Bone Guard: $15 per sheep.

All prices exclude GST.

Cuts and Packaging Options:

  • Chops: Choose between free-flow chops or vacuum-packed chops for an
    additional $1.50 per bag.
  • Rolled Roasts: Rolled and secured with netting for a neat, professional finish.
  • Leg Roasts: Typically prepared shank-off and whole, but we can cut them in half or leave the shank on if requested.
  • Other Packaging:
    • 70-micron vac pack bags with bone guard (for cuts like shanks and roasts).
    • 50-micron vac pack bags (for chops if vac pack is selected).
    • 30-micron clear poly bags (sausages).
    • 30-micron preprinted mince tubes (500g portions).

All products are frozen for your convenience, except for vacuum-packed cuts,
which are chilled for freshness.
